Jeffrey Harrington graduated from  a top-tier university in Southern California, which he attended on a merit scholarship.  Jeffrey concentrated his legal studies on corporate law and international business transactions.  Through his academic achievement, he was awarded a coveted and extremely competitive clerkship with Clifford Chance in Barcelona, Spain.   Jeffrey also  studied international law in France and Argentina as part of his degree program.  After finishing his juris doctorate, Jeffrey moved to South Florida and worked for an international manufacturing company, where his duties included drafting/reviewing contracts, import/export, labor law, compliance, collections, and disputes.  Also, before making the move to Palm Beach County, Jeffrey worked as an in-house advisor for a real estate brokerage firm handling transactions, joint ventures, investor matters, developer matters, and disputes.

Before becoming an attorney,  Jeffrey taught Rhetoric & Writing at San Diego State University.  As a graduate student, Jeffrey moved to Spain where he mastered Spanish and made important foreign contacts.  Since that experience, he has maintained close ties with Europe and South America, and added a working knowledge of both French and Portuguese to his fluent Spanish.

Jeffrey’s Palm Beach County practice focuses on general business and real estate law, both transactions and disputes, and his niche is international transactions.

Janis Rosenthal, Esq. (of Counsel)

Originally from the Main Line in Philadelphia, Ms. Rosenthal earned her undergraduate degree from Villanova University with a B.A. in Political Science, graduating in 1988.  Attending law school in South Florida, she earned her J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2001. Ms. Rosenthal is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida, and also admitted to the District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Having regulatory, corporate and litigation experience, Ms. Rosenthal spent three years as a federal litigator, representing trademark, copyright and patent clients in federal court.  She was then appointed General Counsel for a medical device manufacturer, VitalCare Group, handling its litigation, regulatory and corporate issues.  Following her tenure at VitalCare Group, she worked as an assistant general counsel for the State of Florida, Agency for Health Care Administration. Finally, Ms. Rosenthal acted as General Counsel for Oxonia Insurance Group before leaving to pursue opportunities in private practice.

Ms. Janis Rosenthal has over fifteen years healthcare experience prior to becoming an attorney. Now in private practice, Ms. Rosenthal litigates in both state and federal court for a variety of actions, including healthcare litigation, state regulatory agency defense and litigation, business practices litigation and corporate litigation.
